They just wanted to live in peace as ordinary people. So they never resisted against Nazi and complied with whatever they ordered until it was too late.

Iranians are peace loving people who never think and believe such tyranny and terror could be happened by their religous leaders. They just want to live in peace without any politics. They don't ever care for whatever the government did in the past 20 years. They were tired of revolution and war. Family men just wished to earn enough money for their family. Mothers don't want their daughters be arrested by police for just walking in the street. Youth were burnt for the wish to go to university and get educated. University students tried not to do anything wrong to be expelled from the university. University graduates tried hard to find a job ,( whatever and how cheap and low paid it was) to make a family, a warm hearting home with a wife and children and live in peace.
TO BECOME A FAMILY MAN.

This loop was endless and dark . Besides that there was no communication to the outside world. Iran was under siege , so foreigners could not understand what was going on in Iran. Iranians had no emails, satelites , web ,... to see how the world is changing. All they could see was through Iranian TV, which showed nothing but nonsense.

After years the loop became hopeless. There's no improvement in the situation, no matter who you were. Unless you're part of the ruling family or had the connections, or pretend to believe whatever they say.

The crack appeared in the loop by electing Khatami with 20 millions vote. Faces became happy. Life seemed to appear on the street cross where a boy sold the newspapers. All the people , as individuals realized that they are not alone, that the rest of the people are in the same boat, the infinite dark loop, despite they were silent.

What happened to all the happiness and life in the faces after 6 years. All is left are arrests , exiles , poverty and desperateness.
What will come next?

&nbsp

Will Iran's future be determined in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 ?
Take a look at speakers biographies.

&nbsp

It's seems that in the midst of the war everyone forget about cloning.
But they keep working.
According to their April 24th 2003 news they were able to found living cells in child's dead body
buried 4 months ago.
Congratulations! where I came from :
Based on a research conducted by National Youth Organization (Iran) in Tehran, capital of provinces ,cities and villages, 22 million youth population is showing a complicated generation which occasionally have contradictory behavior.

Among the 17000 young statistical population, only %17.5 is employed which less than a quarter of them are female.
%66 of young married who are not educating, are unemployed, which obviously life is so difficult for them.
Average monthly income for young women is 50000-55000 Toman (62-69 US$).
Average monthly income of employed married youth is 85-92000 Toman (106-115 US$).Which such income is not adequate for a living specially in big cities.

A %90 majority are in a bad situation, which causes bigger problems and sudden unpredicted reactions.
For example %47 of them have no problem of doing illegal activities because of financial short comes.

Average income of their families usually are less than the average, for example %3 of such families are less then 150000 Toman (187 US$), which should be considered under poverty line.

Albeit majority of youth families have no high income and only %6 have monthly income higher than 300000 Toman (375 US$).

Results of this 600 pages research shows pathologic agitation in traditional family structure, change in viewpoint to women, suspension and disorder in political, career and social direction.

Also more than half of young people have stress because of sexual attitude. And 3 quarter of them have problems with satisfying sexual needs.

Also political problems results in at least %41 depends on the coming situation have unpredicted attitude.

Another notable point is drastic decrease in hope in life.
%51 consider themselves to having stress, %41 consider to having depression and %53 wish they never born.
%67 are dissatisfy from the present social situation and %53 think the current situation can not be improved and everything should be changed basically.

Dissatisfaction of schools operation, teaching and educating persons are another major part of this research.
%66 of youth thinks that religious courses in the schools was not successful in improving their religious and inspirational beliefs.
%64 says that they haven't been taught of maturity knowledge.
%70 of university students and graduates believes that high education system has no proper, clear and deep understanding of present day human.
%87 say that high education system needs total reform.

A problem in National Youth Organization which is considered as obvious reality, is spreading of western culture among 14-29 year old youth whom all were trained after revolution.
Almost %40 of them believes in a guaranteed prosperity in west , the cradle of democracy.
%57 says globalization is unavoidable and is the unique way of Iran's prosperity and %70 thinks brain drain is reasonable and logical.

&nbsp

I don't like war, don't like people being tortured and killed.
I hate hatred. But after all I am now against the coming war against Iraq. Although I believe the intentions, motives and reasons are not clear ( and probably not honest ) enough, the outcome may not be bad for Iraqi people and in order for humanity.
This is an article that why this war is necessary. Article talks for itself.
Here is another one which discuss why Iranian people in spite of most danger and harm may come to them because of this war , are not against it.
And had no demonstrations against war.
To my opinion, because they have same situations as Iraqis, and Afghanis before liberated form Taliban although much softer dictatorship. They feel what's the meaning of trying and see no outcome.
They voted for the past few years and all they get is some stubborn people oppose their chosens.
We as Iranians try for generations for freedom, my ancestors are long gone , but did they feel freedom. I only felt it for a few days (although I was a kid) in 1978. But I guess it vanished when the executions started.
Do I ever feel it again in my lifetime?
Millions of people walked for peace , but in my country even a few hundred can not meet with human right reporters.
Has ever millions walked for freedom of human beings in other countries?
Who knows. If it happened for freedom of afghan people, 9/11 would never took place.
Do you still believe in borders in 21st century? considering the fact that internet connects all of us as human beings.
That you can trade with all over the world, reserve airline tickets, hotel rooms , even dinner for next week. Shouldn't be it equal for all human beings who potentially have the knowledge to do that?
Europeans who are the hardest opposers of war, travel freely between their countries. But do you know how many stop and check spots are in each city of my country, Iran? That we would get arrested just because we were young and wore jeans?
This and this and
this
are other articles of those who are not against war, despite they do not believe in current policies over the world.

&nbsp

Have you ever thought that you're useless and have no reasons to continue to live?
Try to find a reason.
